Terms and Conditions for Approval and continuation of Course Approval

1. The Training Provider as set out in this application, undertakes and warrants that they will:

1.1 Ensure that all elements of the course, as set out in this application form, are delivered to the students and that each course element, such as lectures, practical work, case studies, theoretical study and assessments are completed to the level and standards as specified in the curriculum.

1.2 Notify the BRCP of any changes and/or amendments made to the course after it has first been registered as a BRCP Approved Training Course and prior to those changes being made.

1.3 Guarantee that only students who complete all elements of the course and have been assessed according to the training organisation’s procedures, are provided with the relevant qualification.

1.4 Notify their students of the level of BRCP course registration and provide all students with details of the BRCP terms and conditions related to that level of registration. These being:

Term and Termination

3.1 BRCP course registration fees are paid annually at a cost of £100 per year, per course. 3.2 BRCP retains the right to withdraw registration of any course where, in our opinion:

 the course no longer meets the criteria as set out in the original application and amendments have not been approved by the BRCP

 the course has been changed and/or the tutors/teachers changed without informing the BRCP

 the training organisation has not responded satisfactorily to correspondence sent by the BRCP

and/or its representatives and/or to requests sent for information or action.

3.3 Termination of course registration may lead to the BRCP refusing to accept individuals for BRCP registration; for joining the BRCP insurance schemes; and/or attending BRCP CPD courses and/or other events associated with the BRCP at discounted rates; and other benefits associated with BRCP registration. In this event, the training organisation will be solely responsible and liable for any financial compensation to their own students and/or members.

3.4 Where changes in legislation, voluntary or statutory regulation of professional standards in education or practice, government registration and approval of educational standards become such that it is no longer possible for the BRCP to approve an individual course, the BRCP may withdraw approval of a course giving as much notice as feasibly possible in writing. In such an event, no refund of fees paid will be made.

BRCP Support

4.1 From time to time the BRCP may change its support to training providers or to their students;

where possible this will be with prior notice to the training provider.

4.2 We will continue to search for collaborative partners who can provide further benefits to training providers or their students.

4.3 Students on BRCP Approved Training Courses will always benefit from discounts over and above those students who are not on BRCP Approved Training Courses.

4.4 Students on BRCP Approved Training Courses will be eligible to benefit from our arrangement with Balens Insurance Brokers who offer insurance cover for case study work or for any other work performed prior to gaining a qualification, at a very competitive price.

• Term and Termination:

• 3.1 BRCP course registration fees are paid annually at a cost of £100 per year, per course.

• 3.2 BRCP retains the right to withdraw registration of any course where, in our opinion:

• The course no longer meets the criteria as set out in the original application and amendments have not been approved by the BRCP.

• The course has been changed and/or the tutors/teachers changed without informing the BRCP.

• The training organization has not responded satisfactorily to correspondence sent by the BRCP and/or its representatives and/or to requests sent for information or action.

• 3.3 Termination of course registration may lead to the BRCP refusing to accept individuals for BRCP registration; for joining the BRCP insurance schemes; and/or attending BRCP CPD courses and/or other events associated with the BRCP at discounted rates; and other benefits associated with BRCP registration. In this event, the training organization will be solely responsible and liable for any financial compensation to their own students and/or members.

• 3.4 Where changes in legislation, voluntary or statutory regulation of professional standards in education or practice, government registration and approval of educational standards become such that it is no longer possible for the BRCP to approve an individual course, the BRCP may withdraw approval of a course giving as much notice as feasibly possible in writing. In such an event, no refund of fees paid will be made.

• BRCP Support:

• 4.1 From time to time, the BRCP may change its support to training providers or to their students; where possible this will be with prior notice to the training provider.

• 4.2 We will continue to search for collaborative partners who can provide further benefits to training providers or their students.

• 4.3 Students on BRCP Approved Training Courses will always benefit from discounts over and above those students who are not on BRCP Approved Training Courses.

• 4.4 Students on BRCP Approved Training Courses will be eligible to benefit from our arrangement with Balens Insurance Brokers who offer insurance cover for case study work or for any other work performed prior to gaining a qualification, at a very competitive price.
